A true student of the guitar, Kurt hails from Wheeling West Virginia. Playing since his early teens, Kurt’s influences run the musical gamut, from rock to jazz to classical. Kurt has attended sessions with some of the biggest names in the guitar world including Zakk Wylde, Vinnie Moore, Ritchie Kotzen, Steve Lynch and Andy Timmons. Attending class’s with Chick Corea guitar legend Frank Gamble is a high point on Kurts musical resume. Kurt has performed with a number of local groups including Stric-9 and Ego Trip. Kurt has been teaching privately for eleven years. For the last five years he has been teaching at the National Guitar Summer Workshops Day Jams Program.
